IT STARTS WITH YOU…..
Those 4 words should stir you up. But let’s be honest, we hide, we disguise, we shuffle and slip behind others and say, “you do it,” “you stand in the gap,” “you pray,” “you share your faith.” Let’s be real, it is easier to just coast through this life, then to stand up or stand out. But we are called to be disciples of Christ and share our faith and love with others.
Colossians 2:7 (NLT) states:
“Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.”
We begin here. It’s time to dig deep. We are called to be “rooted and grounded.” It’s time to remove the mask and be REAL (R – Rooted, E-Established, A-Authentic, L – Loved). Let’s build our lives on Christ the solid Rock and allow our roots to go down deep. Let us be:
Rooted and grounded in faith
Rooted and grounded in love
Rooted and grounded in the Word
